This week room 3 gets to go on the life education truck to learn about the inside of our bodies and how it works but because room 3 is so well behaved they get to go on it twice – lucky! In room 3 they have been learning about time and measurement in maths GREAT work room 3. This week in room 3 they have been chosen to do junior assembly hope you guys do good . In Mrs Eaton’s amazing class Mrs Eaton has been teaching her class about tomorrow yesterday and today (past present & future.)
Rm 3′s first week back
In room 3 Ms Eaton has been learning about ANZAC Day,and how all of the men would go to war to fight for our country. Mrs Eaton told the class and I that her father went to war but he did not die, room 3 even made some beautiful poppies to represent ANZAC Day. In rm 3 they have been learning to measure time in different ways. Rm three has been running and getting ready for cross country hope your ready for cross country kids. Rm 3 went to he school library when they were there they got to make their own school newsletters for their parents. Good work room 3.
Tidy kiwis in room 3
In room 3 they have been doing wombles they said that they had found lots of rubbish behind, the classes that’s awesome work room 3. In room 3 for C.E. their teacher was teaching them about the real meaning of Easter. Mrs Eaton said that today Monday the 2nd of April we would be split up in to our colours so we can learn our chants. For maths in room 3 they have been learning to do forward and backward counting, good effort room 3
What super room 3 has been doing.
In room 3 they have been learning about, the life cycle of a butterfly they begin their life as a caterpillar and after they have eaten lots of swan plant leaves they build a cocoon and they, stay in there for about two to three weeks then hatch into a butterfly . In room 3 they have been learning a lot about butterflies they wrote stories about the butterfly and coloured in pictures of the butterflies. In room 3 they have been reading big books and they read a book called, the giants great big ice cream .
WHAT SUPER ROOM 3 HAS BEEN UP TO!!!!!
In room 3 they have been learning the days of the week , they all write them in their books so if they forget them they can go back and remember . They all have their own alphabet that stays at their desk,and they practise them altogether . Every Monday & Thursday some of the kids from room 3 go and practise ukulele with Ms Neave. In room 3 they have been drawing and colouring in paper t-shirts . In room 3 they have been learning about leprechaun money . Mrs Eaton got a website from her friend , she put it on her computer and the class goes on it and learns the alphabet dates and months.
What room 3 has been up to!!
In room 3, they all have been reading big books about greedy cat together. Room 3 all said that they all made beautiful, artwork of greedy cat they are all looking awesome room 3. In room 3 for their maths they have been working on fishpoles, room 3 said that you have to match the right number of things to the correct answers. Mrs Eaton explained to me about how Mrs Easton brought some swan plants to their class and said they had chrysilis on them. When they got bigger eventually some beautiful butterflies hatched out and flew away. All the kids in room 3 went for a walk to the public library and had a big look around and they also read lots of books on their way back they looked at the building that was getting pulled down. Mrs Eaton said to the class and me that people are building a new building just in case that if there is a big earth quake happens that building won’t fall down.

Whats happening in room 3
In room 3 they have been learning about being sunsmart, and wearing their hats and they also have made up a song about being sunsmart. Mrs Eaton has told me that they went on a trip to Kaitawa reserve, when they were there they all split up and did different things with their groups some went on bush walks, and others went and played on the park and the flying fox they even played in the river. When room 3 came back Mrs eaton decided that they would write a story and pitcure about what they did at kaitawa reserve.

Wonderful Wonderful Room 3
Room 3 has been very active. They are dancing a bit in their class and I’m sure they love it.
On Friday the Juniors and Seniors had a disco the juniors had a great time they did a fun limbo contest some pupils in Room 3 won some prizes COOL!
Room 3 done legends so they have done some Maui comics. In room 3′s maths time they have been learning about money and counting in tens they are also learning how to count money. Room 3 went to great Te Papa last week (so did the other classes)
The brilliant Room 3 goes to the library sometimes to get exciting books out for them.Room 3 are learning to balance better in gymnastics.
Room 3 made their own clocks since they are learning about time aswell.

Room 3 and their brilliant work!
A university student has been coming to Room 3 and teaching them about legends. They will also begin to make art work about Maori legends and different legends.
Since its been snowing Room 3 had a great idea to make snow flake art they look very wonderful. Room 3 loves going to the to the Kapiti Public Library so they have been doing that.
Room 3 are doing spelling and maths everyday what smart class. They all are also learning a rap about time seconds to hours. Room 3 are still practising their ball skills and they are getting way better and better.

Room 3 Week 9!
In room 3, like always, the kids have been up to a great load of cool stuff.
For art they have been doing their own type of art. Great for being creative. Also the Wiata group sang at assembly. It was really good singing. They also made papier maches in room 7.
For maths they are doing geometry and working with numbers. They are really smart!
For English they’re doing recounts, stories and explanations. Cool!
They have lots of kids in special abilities classes in room 3.
Last but not least they have been training for cross country. Awesome!!! I wonder who will win.
